Grainy videos by activists in the besieged Syrian city of Homs are some of the only pictures we have of the military’s brutal assault there, but this video shot by a French photojournalist using the pseudonym Mani — who managed to get in (and out) of the city — is perhaps the most gripping and clear portrait of the terrifying situation on the ground.
